Directions from Bellefonte

  • If you prefer surface streets, from the courthouse, take High Street west toward Talleyrand Park
  • Turn left on to Water Street (Route 150 South) towards State College with Talleyrand Park on your right
  • Turn left before the Unimart on to Route 144 south
  • Stay on Route 144 South past Cerro Metals for a few miles
  • We are on the right in the old Pleasant Gap Hardware building, which is a fairly large, salmon colored "A" frame type building with a glass front
  • If you pass the Titan Credit Union and go under the railroad bridge, you have gone too far
  • Go slow this is a 25 MPH zone and regularly patrolled!!
  • It is really dark on this section of road, so if you reach the stoplight at the intersection of Route 26 with the Red Horse Tavern (College Ave.), you have gone almost 3 tenths of a mile too far!
  • There is ample free parking in the front and along the side of the building
  • To enter Bellefonte Dance, use the glass door on your left as you face the building

  • If you prefer the highway, take Bishop Street east past the High School 
  • Take the Route 220 south highway towards State College
  • Take the first exit (exit #81) to Pleasant Gap
  • At the end of the off ramp, turn right on to Route 26 (College Ave.)
  • At the second traffic light, you will see the Red Horse Tavern on your right and the Unimart on your left
  • Then turn right on to Route 144 north (Main St.)
  • Go slow this is a 25 MPH zone and regularly patrolled!!
  • From the intersection, you will pass you under the railroad bridge and then immediately see the Titan Credit Union, which is a non-descript barn-style building with a non-lighted sign
  • Immediately thereafter you will see Bellefonte Dance on the left
  • We are located slightly less than three tenths of a mile total from the intersection of Route 26 & Route 144
  • It is really dark on this section of road, so if you go more than a half mile, you have gone too far!

Directions from State College

  • If you prefer surface streets, take College Ave. east (Route 26) toward the Mall 
  • At the juncture with Route 150, be sure to bear right and stay on Route 26 east, which goes toward Pleasant Gap
  • After you pass the Nittany Mall on your left (Shiloh Road), you will travel about 3.5 miles on College Ave. and along the way you will pass the DMV on the right and then the Pleasant Gap post office on your left
  • At the traffic light,  you will see the Red Horse Tavern on your left and the Unimart on your right
  • Then turn left on to Route 144 North (Main St.) toward Bellefonte
  • Go slow this is a 25 MPH zone and regularly patrolled!!

  • If you prefer the highway, take the Route 220 bypass (soon to be I-99) north toward Bellefonte
  • Take Exit 78B (Route 150) toward Bellefonte
  • At the end of the off ramp, go a few hundred yard to the stop light
  • Turn right at the light on to Rishel Hill Road
  • You will see the new Centre County Correctional Facility on your left (Not the Rockview State Prison)
  • Proceed on Rishel Hill Road for about 1 mile
  • At the stop sign, turn right on to Route 144 South (no signs)
  • Stay on Route 144 South for about 1 1/2 miles
  • We are on the right in the old Pleasant Gap Hardware building, which is a fairly large, salmon colored "A" frame type building with a glass front

Directions from Lewistown

  • Take Route 322 toward State College
  • After you pass Seven Mountains, the road narrows and becomes a 2-lane
  • At the base of the hill, turn right on to Route 144 North (no trucks)
  • After turning on to Route 144 you will see the Eutaw House on your right 
  • Continue on Route 144 for several miles, past Centre Hall 
  • You will go over Centre Hall Mountain on Route 144 
  • Stay on Route 144 to Pleasant Gap 
  • At the stoplight in Pleasant Gap, you will see a Unimart on your immediate left and the Red Horse Tavern on the left across the street 
  • Go slow this is a 25 MPH zone and regularly patrolled!!
  • Go Straight (you are still on Route 144!!) about a quarter mile
  • From the intersection, you will pass you under the railroad bridge and then on the left immediately see the Titan Credit Union, which is a non-descript barn-style building with a non-lighted sign
  • Immediately thereafter you will see Bellefonte Dance on the left
  • We are located slightly less than three tenths of a mile total from the intersection of Route 26 & Route 144

Directions from Clinton County

  • If you prefer surface streets, take Route 64 south toward Zion
  • At the "Y" in Zion stay left (which is still Route 64)
  • Stay on Route 64 until it ends and becomes Route 26 (You will first pass Eby Paving, then the  Quarry, and finally the Glen O. Hawbaker facility on the right)
  • When Route 64 ends, it become Route 26 (College Ave.)
  • Stay on Route 26 - College Ave.
  • At the second traffic light, turn right on to Route 144 north (Main St.) - you will see the Red Horse Tavern on your right and the Unimart on your left
  • Go slow this is a 25 MPH zone and regularly patrolled!!

  • Take Exit 161 toward Bellefonte
  • At the end of the off ramp turn left and continue on Route 26/Route 220 South for about 4 miles
  • Take Exit 81 to Pleasant Gap
  • At the end of this long off ramp, turn right on Route 26 (College Ave.)
  • Stay on Route 26 for about 1 1/2 miles, then at the second traffic light, turn right on to Route 144 north (Main St.) - you will see the Red Horse Tavern on your right and the Unimart on your left
  • Go slow this is a 25 MPH zone and regularly patrolled!!
